However, Qinghua’s parents work in a far-away city, and her grandfather, who raised her up, just passed away last year. So she and her two besties decide to embark on a journey to find a skirt themselves.
WHISPERS IN MAY combines both documentary and fiction practices. It is based on real people, real situations, yet developed together by the subjects and filmmakers with a mix of reality and imagination.

Village is the third film of China’s Architectural Heritage Trilogy series and the world’s first documentary on the revitalization of China’s rural architectural heritage.
Traditional villages, carriers of the essence of traditional Chinese culture, are the non-renewable cultural heritage of farming civilization. However, with the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization, the decline and disappearance of traditional villages are intensifying. Enhancing the protection and development of traditional villages is urgently required. Unlike ancient buildings and industrial heritage, rural heritage is prone to superficial inheritance and profit orientation while strictly following the norms of cultural heritage protection and satisfying the growing needs of villagers, which pose serious challenges to their protection and revitalization.
The film will cover 25 provinces and nearly 100 historical and cultural towns across China, recording the past history of the architectural heritage through artistic image expressions. Dozens of architects, experts, scholars, and practitioners of architectural revitalization are interviewed to present the changes in the rural heritage objectively and explore in-depth the ways to protect and utilize the architectural heritage during urban and rural renewal and sustainable development in China. From literature, social, and academic perspectives, it bridges the image gap in the history of Chinese architecture and cultural heritage.

"China, the Story of Us" features a new Ink Painting animation method, telling the general history of China in 5-minute episodes. Starting from the Shang and Zhou Dynasties, where documentation is verifiable, the series chooses to shape the key moments of Chinese history and tells the tough and magnificent choices made by key individuals in those pivotal moments.
The first series focuses on two points in time, "The Battle of Muye" and "The Eastern Movement of King Ping", and answers the origin of the Chinese personality and the origin of the great unified state in two chapters, which will be produced in 20 episodes.

The film follows the director back to her hometown. She grew up in a hospital in Tangshan, knowing that the city was different from other places, that the locksmith on the street could never stand up, that the slide she played on with her friends was actually a huge tombstone, and that many people burned joss paper in the street every summer. As a young girl, she was vaguely aware of the catastrophe more than a decade ago, but the adults always kept their mouths shut about what happened. It was not until she grew up and looked back at her hometown, a place she had left for a long time, that she realized that those who never talked about the past never got over it.
