Weng Ding, a Wa village, is near China - Myanmar border, southwest China ' s Yunnan province, has a history of nearly 300 years. It is known as the " last primitive tribe.＂ It has preserved the most complete typical architectural style of the Wa nationality, the belief system and the most primitive folk customs. In 2012, in order to develop tourism , the government decided to relocate Weng Ding and to establish a new village. The documentary crew selected two families to track records . The documentary records the change and replacement of the institutional discourse power of Weng Ding' s system of the tribe owner, the community' s grassroots organization system, and the tourism system intervened by the outside world.
